New Stamp Sets from Winnie and Walter…

June 6, 2014

Earlier this year, I bought a couple of sentiment stamp sets and a background stamp from a new company called Winnie and Walter.  I’ve used them quite a bit and will probably continue to use them quite a bit. W and W recently released some new stamp sets, and I had to snag a couple of them.  They just arrived today. Here they are: Scenery: Big Bang Bling and The Big, the Bold and Extras.  I really want to try the Big Bang Bling soon.   As you can see, it has stamps that look like sequins – which are really hot in the stamping world right now.   I think it will be fun to use these stamps by themselves or perhaps stamp them and then put smaller sequins on top of the image.

Here is a thank you card I made for my sister-in-law using the flowers, leaves and banners from the Extras set.  Used Distress Inks for the flowers, leaves and blue wash on the background.  Used Memento Black Tuxedo ink on the sentiment.  I really like the tiny stamp that is three little dots.  I think I’ll use that in a lot of different ways.  I can also see a lot of uses for the two-step flowers and leaves.  You can use them together or separately.  Just think of the possibilities.   Thanks for stopping by.

I just got the “extra” stamp, too. Thanks for showing me a great way to use the flowers. They make a wonderful background for your card.
